England in Europe...

Currently the EPL has 3 teams still in the UEFA Champions League, those teams being, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Manchester United have made it to the finals in their last two years facing fellow English team Chelsea and the Spanish giants Barcelona. The Red Devils however were only able to win against rivals Chelsea in a dramatic penalty shoot out. However this season may not show history repeat itself as Manchester United sold Cristiano Ronaldo for a world record signing to Spanish Giants Real Madrid.

Arsenal on the other hand haven't been as successful as some of the other English clubs in their last few attempts at European glory. European glory for the Gunners seems unlikely at this stage in the clubs history but there is never a proper time to write a team off in a knock out stage competition like the Champions League.

Chelsea look hopeful in Europe with a solid team. They made it to semi finals last season and finals the season before that were they suffered an unfortunate defeat in penalty's. With a solid team the Blue's look in a good positions to make it to at least the semi finals of the competition.

These are the upcoming fixtures in the UEFA Champions League for the three English sides:
-AC Milan vs. Manchester United FC (Stadio Giuseppe Meazza)
2:45 PM ET, February 16th 2010
-FC Porto vs. Arsenal FC (Estádio do Dragão,)
2:45 PM ET, February 17th 2010
-FC Internazionale Milano vs. Chelsea FC (Stadio Giuseppe Meazza)
2:45 PM ET, February 24th 2010
